Superb Original U.S. WW1 Painted 2nd Pattern Brodie Helmet-Signal Corps

Description

Offered is a 100% original World War One era Unites States Army painted second pattern Brodie helmet. This superb helmet has both the division insignia as well as the signal corps logo painted. Both are original and remain remarkably crisp, particularly given their age. The original liner and chinstrap are both present and intact. The liner is, of course, a little loose, as is shown in the photos. The helmet appears to be marked ZC207. The chinstrap is marked 7 1/8. The liner label is still largely intact, as pictured. The interior of the label retains a very good R.H. Long 7-18 ink stamp. The helmet is offered exactly as pictured and would make a fine addition to a collection.
